Gamry is once again participating in a Tutorial at the upcoming NACE Meeting on "Use of Electrochemical Techniques for Corrosion Measurement and Monitoring ", sponsored by TEG 097X.  It's scheduled for Sunday, March 16, at 9:00 AM in the Convention Center.  Dr. Pete Peterson from Gamry is talking on Polarization Resistance.

An intensive three-day course entitled "Fundamentals of Corrosion in the Oil and Gas Industry" is scheduled for March 10-13, 2008 in Houston.  This a new course with an excellent agenda, so hurry!  More details...

We've published three new Application Notes...bounce over to our App Note Page and check out the new Notes.

Congratulations to Dr. Marc Edwards of the Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech for his fellowship award from the MacArthur Foundation.  Dr. Edwards was recognized for his research on the corrosion and deterioration of municipal water distribution systems.

"Small is beautiful."  You might think Gamry said it, since Gamry's Potentiostats are very small compared to alternative instruments.  Nope.  Apple said it about the new Mac mini.

Gamry's Potentiostats have all the features, and sometimes more, of our overweight competitors in a package that's 1/10 the size.  It doesn't matter how big it is on the outside...it's how big it is on the inside that counts.

We have released Version 5.50 of Gamry Software and it is available for free download to all licensed users.  Version 5.50 includes the new Sequence Wizard, an easy-to-use sequencer with a drag-and-drop interface.  More details...

Gamry has expanded our product line for cells and accessories by introducing the RDE710 Rotating Disk Electrode.  The RDE710 can be using for rotating disk, ring-disk, or rotating cylinder experiments.

The use of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy to evaluate paints for marine applications is discussed in the October 2007 edition of the JOURNAL OF PROTECTIVE COATINGS AND LININGS.

Only 1/3 of Winter is left to endure!  Celebrate!  Buy a new potentiostat!

A potentiostat is an electronic instrument whose specifications and performance are very well understood -- until you connect your sample to it!  To make sure your potentiostat is working properly with your sample, read our Technical Note on Accuracy Contour Plots.

Do you want to control your Gamry Potentiostat from LabVIEW or Visual Basic?  Or you're an fuel cell test station supplier and want to integrate EIS into your software.  Then you need the eChem Toolkit!
